Inspired by Fitzroy and it’s quirky characters, our creative team at Motto developed an in-house project to create Fitzroy’s Gone Nuts, a retail brand that expressed the personality of the suburb we work in. Our aim was to develop a product range that was both original in design and cleverly packaged. As a result, we created an environmentally conscious package design that housed 3 tins containing a variety of nuts, each with a unique hand-drawn illustration and story that portrayed a local personality. By using no ink or glue, and made from a single piece of recyclable cardboard, it allowed us to increase the market ability of the package because of its simplicity and self-stacking capability.
